  3. Hi, we are trying to create a subdivision on family land which has got three parcels on one title, the parcel we want to have it's own title for has been surveyed & pegged.Just need help filling out the LINZ Manual Dealing Lodgement Form. Don't want to get the greedy solicitors involved. Possible to do a sample form please. Cheers. Chad

    1. I'm not a solicitor. Conveyancing solicitors are not greedy. Does not matter if it is pegged - i could peg it! To be subdivided there has to be a deposited plan showing the separate parcels. I've never done such a transfer so i can not advise you.

  4. Cool, Just getting conflicting stories from the many I've talked to. IE Surveyor - Says go to council, Council says LINZ, LINZ says Surveyor or solicitor. Have got the plan showing the parcels on the title. Just no idea on how to fill in the form. Cheers

    1. is the plan a formal plan that has been registered with LINZ? That has a DP Number? If not there is no legal way to define any of the parcels within it so they can not be transferred. If every parcel has an existing definition on a DP then the owners of the parcels can transfer them by referring to them in the transfer.
